  • The main place of sanctuary is village Nanaj in North Solapur Tehsil, District Solapur.
  • It is also known as the Maldhok wildlife sanctuary.

  • Habitat - The Great Indian Bustard is distributed in the Western part of India and it is also found in Pakistan

    • Critically endangered in International Union for Conservation of Nature's red list;
