Concept used:

Total work = Efficiency × Number of days

Calculation:

Let the efficiency of Shyam be x

⇒ The efficiency of Ram = 2x

⇒ Total efficiency of Ram and Shyam = x + 2x = 3x

⇒ Total work = (3x) × 10 = 30 x

Shyam can complete the whole task = (30x/x) = 30 days

∴ Shyam alone can complete the whole task in 30 days
