Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 :  a = (v - u)/t

CONCEPT:

  • We know the acceleration of the body is the rate of change of velocity.
  • We know the three equations of motion as follows:

\(v = u + at\)

\( v^2 - u^2 = 2as\)

\(s = ut + \frac{1}{2}at^2\)

Here, v = final velocity, u = initial velocity, a = acceleration,  t = time, s = displacement

EXPLANATION:

  • We know the first equation of motion as:

\(v = u + at\)

 \(v-u = at\)

\(\frac{v-v}{t} = a\)

  • Hence option 1 is the answer.
