Correct Answer - Option 1 : Silchar to Porbandar

The Correct  Answer is Silchar to Porbandar.

  • Under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) the East-West Corridor has so far seen the investment of Rs 27,000 crore.
  • While the North-South Corridor (NS) connects Srinagar with Kanyakumari, the East-West Corridor (ES) connects Porbandar with Silchar.
  • The NS-ES network's overall length is 7,300 km. Originally the project was scheduled for completion in 2009.
  • The entire project length was completed barring the 232 Km for the award and 195 Km under execution.
  • Jhansi is the junction of both the corridors.
