Correct Answer - Option 2 : 1

Degree of freedom is given by = 3(l - 1) -2j – h

Here h = No. of higher pair = 0

= 3 (8 - 1) – (2 × 10) = 1

Note: The Grubler’s criterion applies to mechanisms with only single degree of freedom jointswhere the overall movability of the mechanism is unity.
