  • The Parkham Yaksha is a colossal statue of a Yaksha.
  • Parkham is a village in Uttar Pradesh, India, and about 20 kilometres south of Mathura.
  • It is well known for the discovery of an ancient and monumental Yaksha statue, thought to be dating to the 3rd century BCE based on the Brahmi inscription on its pedestal.
  • It has been identified as the Yaksha deity Manibhadra, a popular deity in ancient India. Manibhadra is one of the major yakshas. 
  • Several well-known images of kilometers yaksha Manibhadra have been found. The two oldest known images are Yaksha Manibhadra from Parkham and Yaksha Manibhadra from Padmavati Pawaya.
