Correct Answer - Option 2 : 25000

Given:

Length of the wall = 22.5 m

Thickness of the wall = 0.33 m

Height of the wall = 10 m

Dimensions of a brick = 22 cm × 15 cm × 9 cm

Formula used:

Volume of a wall = length × thickness × height

Calculation:

Volume of the wall = 22.5 × 0.33 × 10 = 74.25 m3

Volume of a brick = 0.22 × 0.15 × 0.09 = 0.00297 m3

Let n number of bricks be required

⇒ 74.25 = n(0.00297)

⇒ n = 25000

∴ Number of bricks required is 25000
