Correct Answer - Option 1 : 15

Given:

Length of train A = 329 m

Length of train B = 296 m

Speed of train A = 85 km/h

Speed of train B = 65 km/h

Formula used:

Time = Distance × Speed

To convert km/h to m/sec, multiply the given value by 5/18

Calculation:

According to the question

⇒ [(329 + 296)/(85 + 65) × 18/5] m/sec

⇒ [(625/150) × 5/18] m/sec

⇒ [(625 × 18)/(150 × 5)] m/sec

⇒ (11,250/750) m/sec

⇒ 15 m/sec

∴ Required time is 15
