 Aravalli:

  • The Aravalli Range is the oldest fold mountain in India.
  • It runs across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana & Delhi.
  • The highest Peak of the Aravali range is found in Gurushikhar, Mt Abu (Rajasthan).​

Himalaya:

  • The Himalayas are the youngest mountain chain in the world.

  • Nilgiri Hills, mountainous region of Tamil Nadu state, southeastern India.
  • The hills are located at the tri-junction of the states Karnataka, Kerela and Tamil Nadu.
