Correct Answer - Option 1 : 4

Given:

4√3x2 + 5x – 2√3 = (Ax + 2)(Bx + C)

Calculation:

4√3x2 + 5x – 2√3

⇒ 4√3x2 + 8x – 3x – 2√3

⇒ 4x(√3x + 2) – √3(√3x + 2)

⇒ (√3x + 2) (4x (4x – √3)

Now,

⇒ A = √3, B = 4 and C = -√3

(A + B + C) = (√3 + 4 + (-√3)

⇒ (√3 + 4 – √3)

⇒ 4

∴ The required value is 4
