Correct Answer - Option 4 : 20, 30

Given:

Sum of two numbers = 50

Calculation:

Let the number larger number be x

Then smaller number = 50 - x

A/Q, Larger number/Smaller number = \(\dfrac{3}{2}\)

\(\Rightarrow {x \over50 - x} = \frac{3}{2}\)

⇒ 2x = 3(50 - x)

⇒ 2x = 150 - 3x

⇒ 5x = 150

⇒ x = 30

Smaller number = 50 - 30 = 20

∴ The smaller and larger number is 20 and 30 respectively
