Calculation:

Let the income of A and B be 2x and 3x

\(\frac{2x \ - 2000}{3x \ -\ 2000 } = \frac35\)

⇒ 10x - 10000 = 9x - 6000

⇒ x = 4000

A's income will be

⇒ 2 × 4000 = Rs. 8000
