Given:

The two numbers are 346 and 23B respectively.

The sum of two numbers = 5A5

Calculation:

First number = 346      ----(1)

Second number = 23B      ----(2)

According to the question, the sum of two numbers is,

⇒ 346 + 23B = 5A5

In the above equation, the unit digit of the sum of two numbers is 5. We have to put 9 in place of B, 

Now,

⇒ 346 + 239 = 585

Now, we get

A = 8

The number 585 is exactly divisible by 9.

A + B

⇒ 9 + 8 

⇒ 17

∴ The value of A + B is 17.
