Correct Answer - Option 3 : 4/7

Calculation:

Let the salary of a month be Rs. a.

According to the question, we have,

Tip = Rs. (4a)/3

Total income = a + (4a)/3 = (7a)/3

Required fraction = {(4a)/3 × 3/(7a)} = 4/7

The fraction of income that came from tips is 4/7.
