Correct Answer - Option 2 : 10 cm

Given:

A right-angled triangle

Length of Base = 8 cm

Length of perpendicular = 6 cm

Formula used:

In a right-angled triangle

(Hypotenuse)2 = (Base)2 + (Perpendicular)2

Calculation:

According to formula,

⇒ (Hypotenuse)2 = 82+ 62

⇒ (Hypotenuse)2 = 64 + 36 = 100

⇒ Hypotenuse = √100 = 10 cm

∴ The length of the hypotenuse is 10 cm.
