Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 6125

Given∶

He get 25% as commission on his sale.

He made 4 sales for 24,500 rupees.

Formula Used∶

Basics of percentage

Commission = Amount of sales × Rate of commission.

Calculation∶

 

Amount of sales = Rs. 24,500

Rate of commission = 25%

By using the formula,

Commission = 24500 × 25%

⇒ 24500 × 0.25

⇒ Rs. 6125

∴ The required commission is of Rs. 6125.
