Formula Used∶

Basics of percentage

Commission = Amount of sales × Rate of commission.

Calculation∶

 

Amount of sales = Rs. 24,500

Rate of commission = 25%

By using the formula,

Commission = 24500 × 25%

⇒ 24500 × 0.25
