Correct Answer - Option 2 : 60.79

Given:

An outlet has 40 kg of mangoes and 55 kg of grapes. The cost of 1 kg of mango and 1 kg of grapes is Rs. 55 and Rs. 65 respectively.

Formula:

Average cost = Total price of all the commodities/total quantity

Calculation:

Cost of 40 kg of mangoes = 40 × 55 = 2200

Cost of 55 kg of grapes = 55 × 65 = 3575

Average price per kg of fruits = (2200 + 3575)/(40 + 55)

⇒ 5775/95

⇒ 1155/19

⇒ 60.79
