The correct answer is Chambal.

  • The Chambal River is a tributary of the Yamuna River in central India, and thus forms part of the greater Gangetic drainage system.
    • Chambal is the longest river in Rajasthan.
  • The 960 kilometers long Chambal River originates from the Singar Chouri peak on the northern slopes of the Vindhyan escarpment, 15 kilometers South-West of Mhow in Indore District, Madhya Pradesh, at an elevation of about 843 meters.
  • The river flows first in a northerly direction through Madhya Pradesh for about 346 kilometers and then takes a north-easterly direction for 225 kilometers through Rajasthan.
  • The river enters Rajasthan in Bhensrod Garh and after flowing into the provinces of Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli and Dholpur drain its waters into the Yamuna River in Uttar Pradesh.

  • Luni River: The Luni is the largest river in the Thar Desert of northwest India.
    • It originates in the Pushkar valley of the Aravalli Range, near Ajmer, passes through the southeastern portion of the Thar Desert, and ends in the marshy lands of Rann of Kutch in Gujarat.
    • It is first known as Sagarmati, then after passing Govindgarh, it meets its tributary Sarasvati, which originates from Pushkar Lake.
  • Mahi River: The Mahi is a river in western India.
    • It rises in Madhya Pradesh and, after flowing through the Vagad region of Rajasthan, enters Gujarat and flows into the Arabian Sea.
  • Ghaggar River :
    • The Ghaggar-Hakra River is an intermittent river in India and Pakistan that flows only during the monsoon season.
    • The river is known as Ghaggar in India, before the Ottu barrage, and as the Hakra in Pakistan, downstream of the barrage, ending in the Thar desert.
