Given:

Fruits in first basket = 6 oranges and 7 mangoes

Fruits in second basket = 5 oranges and 8 mangoes

Formula used:

Probability = Number of favourable outcome/Total number of outcome

Calculation:

Total number of fruits in First Basket = 7 + 6 = 13

Total number of fruits in second Basket = 5 + 8 = 13

Probability of drawing a mango from First Basket = 7/13

Probability of drawing a mango from the second Basket = 8/13

Probability of selecting a basket = 1/2

Probability of drawing mango from any basket = 7/13 × 1/2 + 8/13 × 1/2 = 15/26

∴The probability of drawing a mango is 15/26.
