  • The masjid also is known as the "Friday Mosque" is one of the largest mosques in India.
  • Fatehpur Sikri is a 17th-century mosque in the World Heritage Site in India.
  • The palace city of Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar from 1571 to 1585.

 

  • Buland Darwaza has situated in Fatehpur Sikri. Akbar built the Buland Darwaza to commemorate his victory over Gujarat in 1602.
    • The Buland Darwaza, approached by 42 steps and 53.63m high and 35 meters wide, is the highest gateway in the world and an astounding exemplary of the Mughal architecture.
  • The Panch Mahal (also called Tower of Winds) is a five-story building. There are eighty-four columns on the ground floor.
  • The Hiran Minar was named after the Mughal emperor Jahangir converted the region surrounding the tower into a deer (Hiran) sanctuary. Hiran Minar is also called the "Tower of Antelope".
  • Fatehpur Sikri is a town in Uttar Pradesh's Agra district. 
  • It was established by Emperor Akbar in 1571 as the capital of the Mughal Empire, serving this function from 1571 to 1585.
