Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 9315

Given

Current ratio of an amount invested by Suman and Sona for a year = 2 : 5

Suman invested more of her investment for the second year = 20%

Sona took back of her investment for the second year = 10%

Formula used

Investment = capital × time

Calculation

Current ratio of next year = Suman’s Investment : Sona’s Investment

⇒ 2 × 120% : 5 × 90%

⇒ 8 : 15

Suman’s profit = Rs. 3450

Total Profit = 3240/8 × 23

⇒ Rs. 9315

∴ Total profit earned by the end of the year is Rs. 9315.
