Correct Answer - Option 3 : 32 years

Given:

A : B = 8 : 9

A : B (after 8 years) = 10 : 11

Calculation:

Increase in ages = 10 - 8 = 2 ratio, 11 - 9 = 2 ratio

So, 2 ratio = 8 years

⇒ 1 ratio = 4 years

∴ A's age = 8 × 4 = 32 years

∴ A's age is 32 years
