Correct Answer - Option 2 : 5 ∶ 8

Given:

Distance travels by a bus in 4 hrs = 160 km

Distance travels by a train in 5 hrs = 320 km

Formula used:

Distance = Speed × Time

Calculation:

Speed of a bus = 160/4 km/hr

⇒ 40 km/hr

Speed of a train = 320/5 km/hr

⇒ 64 km/hr

Required ratio = (40 : 64)

⇒ 5 : 8

∴ The ratio of the distance travelled by them in one hour is 5 : 8
