Correct Answer - Option 3 : 12 and 49

Given:

If \(\frac{16}{28} = \frac{x}{21} = \frac{28}{y}\)

Calculation:

According to the question,

16/28 = x/21

⇒ (16 × 21)/28 = x

⇒ x = 12

16/28 = 28/y

⇒ y = (28 × 28)/16

⇒ y = 724/16

⇒ y = 49

∴ The value of x and y are 12 and 49.
