Correct Answer - Option 2 : 24

Given:

Average of first two = 12 + Average of last two

Formula used:

Average = sum of observations/total number of observations

Calculation:

Let the numbers be a, b, c

A.T.Q

(a + b)/2 = (b + c)/2 + 12

⇒ a + b = b + c + 24

⇒ a - c = 24

∴ The required difference is 24
