Correct Answer - Option 2 : 21.6 days

Given:

Ratio of work of efficiency of man and women is 3 ∶ 5.

24 men can complete a piece of work in 15 days.

Concepts used:

Time = Work/Efficiency

1 day work of individual = Work/Time

Calculation:

1 day work of 1 man = 1/(24 × 15) = 1/360

⇒ Efficiency of 1 man = 1/360

Let the efficiency of 1 women be x.

Ratio of efficiency of 1 man and 1 women = 3 ∶ 5

⇒ 1/360/x = 3/5

⇒ Efficiency of 1 women = 1/216

⇒ 1 day work of 1 woman = 1/216

⇒ 1 day work of 10 women = 10/216 = 5/108

⇒ Time taken by 10 women to complete full work = 108/5 days = 21.6 days

∴ 10 women can complete full piece of work in 21.6 days.
