Given 

Bala donated money = Rs 1800

Formula Used 

Percentage = (required/actual) × 100 

Calculation 

⇒ Let the Bala's salary is 100x  

⇒ he decide to donate his salary  = 10% of 100x = 10x 

⇒But, he donate money = 60% of 10x = 6x 

⇒ 6x = Rs1800 

⇒ x = 300

⇒ 100x = 100 × 300 = Rs 30000

∴ the Bala's salary is Rs 30000
