Given:

Average marks obtained by Ritam in Physics, Chemistry, Math and Biology = 50

average marks in Beangali, English, Chemistry and Social science = 70

Average marks of all seven subjects = 58

Concept:

Average = (Sum of the total items/ number of the total item)

Calculation:

Total marks obtained by Riram in Physics, Chemistry, Math and Biology = (50 × 4) = 200

Total marks obtained by Riram in Beangali, Chemistry, English and Social science = (70 × 4) = 280

∴ Total = (200 + 280) = 480

∴ Total number in all seven subjects = (58 × 7) = 406

∴ Marks in Chemistry = (480 ─ 406) =  74
