Correct Answer - Option 1 : 1408 cm3

Given:

Base Radius of cylindrical vessel = 8 cm

Ratio of height and radius = 7 : 8

Formula Used:

Volume of cylinder = πr2h

Here, r = Radius and h = Height

Calculation:

Height/Radius = 7/8

⇒ Height/8 cm = 7/8

⇒ Height = 7 cm

Volume of cylindrical vessel = π(8 cm)2(7 cm)

⇒ 22/7 × 64 × 7 cm3

⇒ 22 × 64 cm3

⇒ 1408 cm3

∴ The volume of the cylindrical is 1408 cm3
