Correct Answer - Option 4 : None of these

Concepts:

Deadlock prevention can be done by eliminating any of the below condition:

1. Mutual Exclusion

2. Hold and wait

3. No preemption

4. Circular Wait

Hold and wait:

A process must be holding at least one resource and waiting to acquire additional resources that are currently being held by other processes.

Explanation:

When there is only one resource, the conditions of hold and wait and circular wait gets eliminated. With the assumption that no process can use a resource for an infinite amount of time, whenever a process will finish its execution, another process can get the resource. So a deadlock can’t occur. Hence correct answer is option 4, that is, none of these.
