Correct Answer - Option 4 : A cow costs between Rs.2,400 and Rs.4,000

Given

Goat cost between = Rs 600 and Rs 800

Calculation

Let the G be the cost of goats.

4G < Cow < 5G

Now, given a goat price = 600 Rs.

⇒ 4 × 600 < Cow < 5 × 600

⇒ 2400 < Cow < 3000

Now, given a goat price = 800 Rs.

⇒ 4 × 800 < Cow < 5 × 800

⇒ 3200 < Cow < 4000

∴  It can be seen that from above equations that Cow cost is between Rs. 2400 and Rs. 4000
