Correct Answer - Option 4 : 5/36

Formula used:

P(E) = (Favorable events)/(Total events)

Calculations:

In two throws of a dice = n(S) = 6 × 6 = 36

Events = {(6,2) (5,3) (4, 4) (2,6) (3,5)}

P(E) = 5/36

The probability of getting a sum of 8 from two thrown throws of a dice is 5/36
