Correct Answer - Option 2 : 240 km

Formula Used :

 speed = distance/time

Let the two trains meet at R , according to the question, the train with higher speed moves 120 km more than the train having less speed.

Let the distance traveled by train P having less speed be x km and the distance traveled by the train Q having more speed be (120 + x) km

They will take same time to reach R in order to meet each other ,

(Time)P = (Time)Q

⇒ x/25 = (x + 120)/75

⇒ 3x = x + 120

⇒ x = 60 km

Distance between P and Q is = x + x + 120 = 60 + 60 + 120 = 240 km
