Correct Answer - Option 2 : Tally Mark

Note down the key definitions:

  • Tally Mark: The mark (bar) used to represent the no. of occurrence of the score is called tally mark.
  • Frequency: The no. of occurrence of a particular score or a group of scores is known as frequency (f) of the score or group of scores.
  • Class Interval: A group of scores, for example, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 can be written as 10-15 instead of writing each score individually.
  • Grouped Frequency Distribution: When data is represented in regular class intervals, it is known as grouped frequency distribution.

Hence, we conclude that the above statement is of tally mark.
