Correct Answer - Option 1 : 32% profit

Given:

Khushboo purchases coffee cups i.e., 3 for Rs. 40 and buys the same number of cups i.e 5 for Rs. 60.

Formula Used:

Profit percentage = {(SP – CP)/CP} × 100

Calculation:

Let the khushboo buys in all 30 coffee cups.

CP of 15 coffee cups at 3 for Rs. 40 = Rs (40 × 15/3) = Rs. 200

Again, CP of 15 coffee cup at 5 for Rs. 60 = Rs. (60 × 15/5) = Rs. 180

Total CP = Rs. (200 + 180) = Rs. 380

SP of 30 coffee cups = Rs. (50 × 30/3) = Rs. 500

Profit = Rs. (500 – 380) = Rs. 120

Profit % = (120/380 × 100) = 31.57% i.e. 32%

∴ Profit% is 32%
