Correct Answer - Option 3 : 30 kg

GIVEN:

Weight of alloy = 85 kg

The ratio of weights of lead. Iron, and tin = 3 ∶ 5 ∶ 9

EXPLANATION:

Total weight in ratio = 3 + 5 + 9 = 17 unit

17 unit = 85 kg

⇒ 1 unit = 5 kg

Difference between weights of tin and lead = 9 – 3 = 6 unit

⇒ 6 unit = 30 kg

∴ The answer will be 30 kg
