Given:

Formula Used:

Efficiency = Work done/Time Taken

Calculation:

By using the above formula

The efficiency of X is = 60/4 = 15 pages/min

The efficiency of X + Y = 750/30 = 25 pages/min

⇒ The effi of Y = 25 – 15 = 10 pages/min

The time taken by Y to copy 100 pages will be

⇒ Time taken by Y = 100/10 = 10 minutes

∴ The Time taken by Y is 10 minutes.
