Correct Answer - Option 3 : 2/5

Given:

Number of boys is 15

Number of girls is 10

Number of selected student at random is 1

Calculation:

Total no. of students,

⇒ 15 (boys) + 10 (girls) = 25

Probability of the selected girl,

⇒ Number of girls/Number of total students

⇒ 10/25

⇒ 2/5

∴ 2/5 is the probability that the selected student is a girl.
