Correct Answer - Option 3 : (8, 53, 166)

The pattern followed is:-

Second Number = First Number × 7 - 3

Third Number = Second Number × 3 + 7

The given set is (6, 39, 124)

First Number = 6

Second Number = First Number × 7 - 3

= 6 × 7 - 3

= 42 - 3

= 39 = 39

Third Number = Second Number × 3 + 7

= 39 × 3 + 7

= 117 + 7

= 124 = 124

Checking the options:

1) (5, 38, 121)

First Number = 5

Second Number = First number × 7 - 3

= 5 × 7 - 3

= 35 - 3

= 32 ≠ 38

Third Number = Second Number × 3 + 7

= 38 × 3 + 7

= 117 + 7

= 124 ≠ 121

2) (9, 34, 235)

First Number = 9

Second number = First Number × 7 - 3

= 9 × 7 - 3

= 63 - 3

= 60 ≠ 34

Third Number = Second Number × 3 + 7

= 34 × 3 + 7

= 102 + 7

= 109 ≠ 235

3) (8, 53, 166)

First Number = 8

Second Number = First Number × 7 - 3

= 8 × 7 - 3

= 56 - 3

= 53 = 53

Third number = Second Number × 3 + 7

= 53 × 3 + 7

= 159 + 7

= 166 = 166

4) (7, 14, 101)

First Number = 7

Second number = First Number × 7 - 3

= 7 × 7 - 3

= 49 - 3

= 46 ≠ 14

Third Number = Second Number × 3 + 7

= 14 × 3 + 7

= 42 + 7

= 49 ≠ 101

Hence, the correct answer is "(8, 53, 166)".
