Directions: In the question below is given a statement followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to assume everything in the statement to be true, then consider the two conclusions together and decide which of them logically follows beyond a reasonable doubt from the information given in the statement.

Statement:

A newspaper reported that a soldier got injured during clashes between India and China.

Conclusions:

I. The Indian Army got defeated by the Chinese Army.

II. There were a lot of casualties during this war.

2. Only II follows
3. Neither I nor II follows
4. Either I or II follows
5. Both follow

Correct Answer - Option 3 : Neither I nor II follows

Conclusion I: In the statement, there does not mention about the defeat so the conclusion I does not follow. 

Conclusion II: Newspaper reported only about one soldier so we can't say that there were a lot of casualties therefore conclusion II does not follow.

Hence, neither I nor II follows.
