Correct Answer - Option 4 : 81 cm2

Given:

Ratio = 3 : 4

Formula used:

TSA = 6a2   (where a is the side of the cube)

CSA = 4a2

Volume of cube (V) = a3

Calculations:

According to the question, V/TSA = 3/4

⇒ a3/6a2 = 3/4

⇒ a = 9/2

⇒ a = 4.5 cm

⇒ CSA = 4 × (4.5)2

⇒ CSA = 81 cm2

∴ The curve surface area of the cube is 81 cm2.
