Correct Answer - Option 4 : 46

Given:

\(\frac{\sqrt{1058}×\sqrt{648}}{x} = 18\)

Formula required:

\(\sqrt[2]{a} = a^{1/2}\)

\(\sqrt[n]{a} = a^{1/n}\)

\(a^m \times a^n = a^{m + n}\)

a-m = 1/am

Calculation:

\(\frac{\sqrt{2 × 529} × \sqrt{2 × 324}}{x} = 18\)

\(\Rightarrow \frac{\sqrt{2 × 529 × 2× 324}}{18} = x\)

\(⇒ x = \frac{\sqrt{2^2 × 23^2 × 18^ 2}}{18} \)

⇒ x = (22 × 232 × 182)1/2 ÷ 18

⇒ x = 2 × 23 × 18 ÷ 18

⇒ x = 46

∴ The required value is 46
