 Explanation: 

 At constant volume

Collision frequency is directly proportional to Urms i,.e 

Collision frequency  ∝ Urms   ...(ii)

From Eqs (i) and (ii)

Collision frequency  √T

Hence, on increasing the collision frequency, pressure increases.
