From the given pair of equations,

a1/a2 = 3/6 = 1/2;

 b₁/b₂ = 2/4 = 1/2;

 c₁/c₂ = 6/18 = 1/3

∴ a₁/a₂ = b₁/b₂ 

∴ The lines are parallel and hence no solution.

3x + 2y = 6

2y = 6 – 3x 

y = \(\frac{6-3x}{2}\)

6x + 4y = 18

4y = 18 – 6x

y = \(\frac{18-6x}{4}\)
