To solve the equations
2x + y = 4 and 3x – 2y = \(\frac{5}{2}\) graphically
We can rewrite the given equations as follows
2x + y = 4 ⇒ y = 4 – 2x ……….. (1)
3x – 2y = \(\frac{5}{2}\) ⇒ 6x – 4y = 5 ⇒ y = \(\frac{6x-5}{4}\) ………… (2)
Now we choose the co-ordinates of the points lie on the straight lines represented by above (1) & (2)

So we plot the points (0, 4), (1, 2), (2, 0) and (1.5, 1) on graph paper and connect them to get its straight line and

By plotting the points (1, 0.25) (0, -1.25) (1.5, 1) on graph paper we get its straight line.

From above two straight lines, we observe that they intersect at the point (1.5, 1).
Hence (1.5, 1) is the solution of given two equations So, x = 1.5 and y = 1 are the solution.
