Subject: Switch over to the Solar Energy
Sir,
Through the well-known columns of your newspaper, I want to make a plea to the common people to switch over to the solar energy to conserve electricity and limit electricity bills. Clean, renewable energy must become a priority to grow our economy, improve our health and protect our environment. We would harness the power of the sun to become a leader in solar energy development. We can use solar energy for cooking, lighting, heating and many other household choices. Solar energy is the energy derived from the sun. The energy can be used directly to heat items, and light homes or it can be converted into electricity using solar energy technologies like solar panels. We should increasingly invest in solar energy to save on out of pocket costs andget rid of dangerous and expensive power lines. Its installation, maintenanceand monitoring of the system come free of charge and are part of the deal.Renting solar energy inflates electricity bills. Even if the sun doesn’t shineone remains on the grid. Using partial Solar Energy and partial electricity. I would request the government representatives also to make the people awareabout the advantages of solar energy and how to use it.  I would be thankful to you, if you publish this letter in public interest.
 Thanking you Yours truly

Dear Sir,

Sub: Switch to Solar power

I wanted to bring to your attention the case of the rising electricity bills in Delhi. Owing to the severe scorching heat most households are using air-conditioners through the day and night. Coupled with the other daily usages, the monthly bill is hitting the roofs.

I strongly feel that people should switch over to Solar energy as an alternative immediately. It is a renewable source of energy, environment friendly and a great way to reduce the bills.

Kindly take this issue up in your daily and encourage people to make this transition. We look forward to getting like wise suggestions and possibilities of solutions to the every day problems of citizens.

Yours sincerely
Kapil

Subject : Evoking Awareness Towards Solar Energy

Sir

Through the columns of your reputed newspaper, I wish to make people aware of the growing need and demands for solar power. We all know that our earth is showing signs of a patient in declining health and this is due to the excessive pollution on our planet. Man has a desire to live a luxurious life and for that, he is over consuming electricity. He doesn’t realize that the overuse will exhaust the resources of our planet. We must conserve electricity which is the need of the hour.

This conservation can only be done if we start using solar power systems. Various kinds of solar systems like solar cookers, solar lanterns, solar heating and cooking systems, solar water heaters, etc., are available in the market.

These solar systems are non-polluting. They are economical and are available in different sizes. So, I request you to publish this letter in your newspaper in order to make people aware of the need for conserving electricity and limiting electricity bills. The public must pay attention to the dire need for switching over to solar energy.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely
