Subject Matter: Chand Biwi  is shown Playing Polo with her companions in open field. The city is visible in background with clear blue sky. Foreground has a pond with lotus flower and cranes sitting.

Chand Biwi, the Queen of Bijapur,  was a great sportsperson. Chaugan,  also known as equestrian Polo,  was a popular sport in that time. The Painting appears provincial and descirbes the sportsmanship of the period.
