Explanation:

Out of 2 drivers one can sit on front seat.

So number of ways = ²C₁ = 2
and another rest of 5 person one have to select for front seat i.e number of ways = ⁵C₁ = 5
So, front seat can be filled by 2 persons = ²C₁*⁵C₁
rear seat (remaining 4 person) = ⁴C₁
So, total number of ways in which the car can be filled
= ²C₁*⁵C₁*⁴C₁
= 2*5*4
= 40
