Let x = 2, y = -3, z = 4

Then y \(\times\) z = -3 \(\times\) 4 = -12

and x \(\times\) y = 2 \(\times\) 3 = -6

x \(\times\) (y \(\times\) z) = 2 \(\times\) -12 = - 24

(x \(\times\) y ) \(\times\)z = -6 x 4 = -24

Hence, x \(\times\) (y \(\times\) z) = (x \(\times\) y) \(\times\) z

Hence verified
