Explanation:

Electromotive force = EMF = Voltage = V

V = (W/Q) = [(F ∙ S) / Q] = [(m ∙ a ∙ s) / (Q)] = [(m ∙ a ∙ s) / (I ∙ t)]

W = workdone

Q = charge

 F = Force

  S = displacement

 m = mass

 a = acceleration, I – current, t – time

 ∴ V = ([M1L1T–2L] / [AT]) = [M1L2T–3A–1]
